Moving Beyond Classroom Management - Leading a Culture of Learning

Katie Budrow (Author), Garnet Hillman (Author)

No one can argue that effective classroom management is critical for teaching, but what if there was something more than just managing student behavior. What if we could stop simply trying to control or deal with students? What if we could move beyond the tips and tricks of traditional management systems and obtain a more harmonious environment for students and teachers? The beautiful thing is we can. In Moving Beyond Classroom Management: Leading a Culture of Learning, Katie Budrow and Garnet Hillman show how to shift away from short-term classroom management solutions and create a culture of trust, empathy, and safety that builds essential leadership skills for students to use in the classroom and throughout their lives.
