Wisconsin Professional Learning Consortium

(WI PLC)

"None of us is as smart as all of us."

Leading within a school district brings great opportunities and great challenges. The unique role of leading curriculum and instruction can feel lonely at times as there is likely no one else in your district with a similar role. However, you are not alone! Throughout Wisconsin, directors, such as yourself, are facing similar challenges and seeking similar solutions.

The Wisconsin Professional Learning Consortium (WI PLC) brings together those who lead curriculum and instruction within their district to: network, collaborate, learn, and improve outcomes for kids...together. Our mantra is "leave your ego at the door" as we share what is working, what isn't working, and as we explore what could be.

Benefits of Joining

Your membership in the Wisconsin Professional Learning Consortium includes the following benefits:

Monthly Consortium Sessions

Members gather each month during the school year to dig into around topics of mutual interest. Agendas for these sessions are driven by the members of the consortium and typically include a blend of professional learning and collaboration.

Direct Access to FIRST Consultants

Our experts, practitioners, and authors from FIRST Educational Resources regularly join the WI PLC meetings to provide support and training. In addition, as a member, you will have direct and easy access to these professionals when you need them!

Instructional Coaching Collaborative

As a WI PLC member, your instructional coaches will be invited to join our PLC Coaching Collaborative. The Collaborative meets every other month to collaborate around topics of shared interest and to learn strategies and tools that drive student learning, and teacher learning, forward.

Discounted Professional Learning

Through your membership in the WI PLC, you will be amongst the first to know about new professional learning opportunities. In addition, your registration at our annual summit will be at a discounted rate.

WHAT OUR MEMBERS ARE SAYING:

"I enjoy the learning focus of the WI PLC. We have 4-5 things happening in our district right now that are the direct result of being part of this group."
