Love to read …#kidlit?  Love that “Book Club” feeling?  Join like minded educators for collaboration around relevant, engaging #kidlit!  Just one mentor text can serve as a catalyst for many lessons.  We will explore and discuss literature that you will want to share with your students!  Ideas for implementation will also be shared!

As a result of this workshop, participants will leave with:

  • A relevant list of engaging texts for their students and classroom libraries

  • Plans and instruction focused on 1-2 mentor texts that foster engagement and are standards aligned
