As the 2024-2025 school year is underway, we reflect on our success and our struggles. We, as education leaders are left to wonder, how do we continue to support Equitable Learning for ALL students in ALL schools? Educators throughout the country are struggling to meet the needs of their students while navigating the increased accountability and volatile political climate. During this 1 day Equitable Learning and Leading Institute, teachers and administrators will have the opportunity to learn about new approaches to their work from some of the foremost experts in the field of Equity. This institute will help attendees answer the following questions:

How can I be a change agent in my school for ALL students?

How can I leverage formal and informal opportunities to improve practices so ALL students can achieve?

How can I manage differences and integrate the tenants of Belongingness Theory to ensure schools are meeting the needs of ALL students?

How can I create inclusive spaces that promote achievement for ALL students?
Equitable systemic change does not have to be impossible or contentious, in fact it can be energizing and meaningful. Participants will be given the opportunity to engage in dialogue, reflect, and opportunities to apply their new learning. an equity-centered framework for strategic planning and learn to use protocols to engage competently in equity-centered conversations that are orientated towards action. Continue to nurture the “will” to engage in ongoing equity work and develop the “skills” to move the work forward. The Learning and Leading Institute is focused on organizational change in order to ensure equitable outcomes for ALL students.
As a result of attending this institute, participants will:

Gain a deeper awareness of educational history as well as examining personal and system-wide barriers to equitable organizational change.

Utilize a tool for applying an equity lens to organizational change.

Plan for future application of this framework when examining current and desired state

Examine their role in creating inclusive space for all students
