The Learner FIRST EL Summit brings together dedicated educators from around the United States to engage in a one-day professional development opportunity focused on strengthening theoretical and practical knowledge around providing rigorous instruction for English Learners.

 

Featuring three amazing keynotes and four amazing breakout sessions, this event provides participants with the following:

  • Discover ways to effectively engage and enrich EL students in a variety of academic settings

  • Identify and address barriers EL students face in overcoming the academic and social-emotional setbacks created due to the pandemic

  • Gain frameworks for successfully engaging and enhancing learning for all multi-lingual learners within the Prek-12 school setting

  • Explore innovative strategies and techniques to help English Learners succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.

 

Who should attend: Teachers in the field of dual language, ESL, administrators, paraprofessionals, students, researchers, advocates, policymakers, and parents.
